TRAVELS / Stockholm

HEJ HEJ - As you might know I spent the last weekend in Stockholm. It was my first visit to Sweden (and Scandinavia - so, I've never been that north in Europe) and I have to say it was simply great. We were really lucky because we couldn't have asked for better weather. The sun was shining all day, every day. It wasn't as warm as in Vienna but hey as long as you can wear sunglasses I'm fine.

We mostly spent our days walking through the city. If you ever go there: Don't buy a TUNNELBANA (= tube) ticket - better bring comfortable shoes. There are little cafés and restaurants everywhere and on our first day we discovered the most A-MAZING blueberry cake with vanilla cream mmmhhhh... In general the food was really really good.

Of course, when you're in Stockholm you have to see it by boat. That's exactly what we did and it was phenomenal! You see so many things you won't be able to see when you're just walking through the city. And with the water underneath you and the wind in your hair there's nothing else to do than relax and enjoy the beautiful moment.

Our hotel was really in the city center so we were able to reach everything very fast. And not only did we have one of the best breakfast buffets I've ever had but we also had a room with a balcony so we could sit outside in the morning and enjoy the first coffee of the day in the sunshine. Of course, I had to use this balcony for some outfit pics (the first ones are already up on the blog HERE and there are more to come soon).

So, all together Stockholm was great, the people are amazingly friendly and I can absolutely understand that the city of Stockholm is growing very fast and more and more people want to live here.
